2 Nomads & a Travel Dog " Last Day"
Savannah to Hunting Island
Back roads outside of Savannah.
View from the RV. We got very lucky in getting this spot. I tried to reserve this same spot for a long weekend in Feb. Not going to happen. Next opening for 3 days in a row is Dec. 2016
Coffee at sunrise on the beach.
Water was still warm enough to go swimming. Guy was out on a paddle board.
Light house on Hunting Island.
Ali loves the beach but hates the water. She is sure the waves are out to get her.
Our camping spot. #39
Smoothing it.
From here we headed home. We were going to stay somewhere halfway home but decided to drive it in one day. Round trip was about 1200 miles.

2 Nomads & a Travel Dog " Day 8"
Jekyll Island and Fort McAllister
Bridge going to Brunswick outside the entrance to Jekyll Island.
Ate lunch in the cafe of the hotel.
Did some shopping in town. The grounds were great.
Nice wide open beach.
My Mom told me that she tipped the stroller over, when I was a baby, at this beach. She said I was very angry and haven't been right sense.
Pier at north end of Jekyll Island
Great sunset at the campground.

2 Nomads & a Travel Dog " Day 7"
Headed north toward the GA coast line. Followed A1A up the coast. About 30 miles north of Saint Augustine we found some great beaches at Guana Tolonato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve. Had the beach to ourselves.
Found another State Park in GA. Headed for Crooked River hoping they would have a spot.
Did a load of laundry and called it a night.
